Already taken care of exercise today?
To get or stay fit, have fun without having to spend a lot of money, the h_da University Sports offers you numerous possibilities. The aim of university sport is to offer all university members a wide range of sporting activities and to motivate as many participants as possible to take part in sport on a regular basis.
Focus on mass sports
The focus of the programme will be on mass sports in order to meet the different starting conditions and expectations of the participants through a graduated programme. An essential component of h_da university sport is student involvement, whether as participants in the programmes, as active participants, supervisors and trainers, or as helpers in the organisation of sporting events or German university championships by the h_da.
Just take a look at the programme
The h_da university sports programme is continuously being expanded. Directly on the Darmstadt campus, a variety of health-oriented courses are offered in the sports room in Haardtring during a regular semester of attendance. The centrally located callisthenics facility in front of the Wasserbauhalle offers the opportunity for independent training and fitness courses, and a slackline and table tennis tables encourage active break time on campus. In addition, you can usually take part in various h_da sports activities almost every day at the Ziegelbusch sports park run by TG 1875 Darmstadt, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Karlshof student residence. The university sports programme in Darmstadt is rounded off by other offers in municipal halls and swimming pools.
Campus Dieburg: Campus Sports Centre with 250 square metres of space
On the Dieburg campus, you can train under supervision in the 250 square metre "Campus Sport Centre CSC" in the basement of the Mensa building and take advantage of various gymnastics programmes.
Or would you prefer to go skiing?
In addition, various snow sports excursions are usually offered in the winter semester. In the summer semester, the University Sports Office, together with the h_da Family Office and the h_da Department of Social Work, organises exercise-oriented holiday games for the children of students and employees of the university.
