Two students - different mother tongues
The Language Tandems are an additional offer of the Language Centre. Two students who speak different mother tongues support each other in learning the foreign language. The main aim is to learn the language of the respective tandem partner and thus give him or her an insight into their own culture. It can help foreign students to find their way around their studies better.
Learn from each other
Together with your tandem partners, you have the opportunity to get to know the university, the city and Germany in a completely different way. In return, the German partners can use and expand their foreign language skills and receive first-hand information about life, work and study in other countries.
The Language Centre acts as an intermediary, you organise yourselves
The Language Centre arranges the Tandem partners. You can register at any time by e-mail with your desired target language and you will be entered into a database. If a suitable partner is available, the email addresses are exchanged. The tandems can then decide for themselves how often they exchange information, how they learn together and what they do together. Support workshops on tandem learning are also planned.
