In the Catholic University Community (KHG) you will find space to leave the stress of studying behind you. And all those who want to do so will find ways to live their lives out of their faith here. With the KHG you can discover culture, learn to understand the world through relevant social and scientific topics, become creative and celebrate worship. This and much more is the programme of the KHG. With this in mind, the KHG offers students in particular a colourful programme every semester. Protestant Student and University Community
The ESG (Protestant Student and University Community) is open to students from all over the world! As a Protestant church at the university, the ESG offers space to meet, discuss, broaden horizons and relax. The offerings range from workshops to discussion evenings to group offerings on topics such as study support and personal development, internationality and interculturality, religion and society. The ESG celebrates ecumenical services at the beginning and end of each semester. In addition to various spiritual offerings, the ESG also offers art, culture and leisure activities.
Counselling in crisis situations
The ESG also offers help and advice in crisis situations and in the event of difficulties. The ESG offers confidential counselling and pastoral care in the event of study problems, exam nerves, excessive demands, personal crises and other questions. International students at Darmstadt universities can register for counselling if they have found themselves in an emergency situation through no fault of their own.
