Today it may still seem far away, but then it sometimes comes sooner than you think: graduation. The paths you open up for yourself often lead away from Darmstadt and the h_da. That's why you should already have it in mind today: Your graduation doesn't have to be goodbye. The h_da wants to keep in touch with you!
In contact with the alumni
Alumni (that's the plural) are all graduates of a university - and, by the way, all those who have researched, taught or worked there. It's a traditional term, but it stands for a current thing that is becoming increasingly important: the lasting connection between alumni and their university.
You are soon insiders, looking at the university from the outside. From this perspective, you sometimes see things differently or better than the h_da members - and can therefore provide important impulses. At the h_da, the departments, together with the Central Alumni Management, make every effort to keep in touch with you. Above all, the department will offer you professional docking points, for example invitations to lectures, the opportunity to make suggestions for better teaching, to lecture yourself or to teach. You can get an overview of what the h_da offers its alumni on the central alumni website. Small spoiler: There you will find special offers as well as many other h_da alumni. Even during your studies, it can be interesting to follow the paths your former fellow students have taken through portraits or interviews.
Once you have your degree in your pocket, you can register in the alumni member area and determine which information you would like to receive from the h_da via which channel: for example, certain newsletters by email.
