Study, practical or short stay
Have you already considered spending part of your studies abroad? No matter whether you are interested in a study, practical or short stay, the International Office of h_da has a lot of information about programmes and financing possibilities on its website.
Testimonials from students
You can search for suitable partner universities in a database and get help in your decision-making process with the help of testimonials and the Moodle course "Study Abroad" (both in German). In addition, you can find the explanatory video "Studying abroad - this is how it works" on the website.
Get informed early
Tip: If you are interested in studying abroad, it is important that you inform yourself as early as possible, as a stay abroad usually requires some lead time.
Study Abroad Fair and “Fernweh” Days
As a rule, the International Office organises various information events in the winter semester, such as Study Abroad Fairs or Wanderlust "Fernweh" Day. You can find the programme of events in good time on the International Office website.
Personal counselling
Of course, you can also get personal and individual advice. You can find the office hours of the respective contact persons on the International Office website. By the way, the Departmental Coordinators of the respective faculties are responsible for advising you on academic matters.
Don't miss a thing
Oh yes - to keep up to date, you should regularly check the International Office's Instagram account. Current dates and programmes are posted there, and partner universities are presented. There is also an Instagram takeover by students almost every semester.
